New Milford Rotary Starts Diaper Bank
New Milford Rotary is establishing a Diaper Bank that will collect donations of diapers and personal care products for distribution to local service groups. Rotary will collect and store products centrally and then provide them to local groups who will distribute them to families. By coordinating collection of these products, the message to the public will be simpler. The items can be distributed to local agencies on an as needed basis which will help get the products where the need is greatest. The Rotary Club is funding the creation of the diaper bank through the club's foundation and a matching grant from District 7890.
