The Rotary Club of New Milford was chartered in 1960. Our motto is “Service Above Self”. Through our annual community fundraisers: Memorial Day Duck Race, Community Shredding Days and we are able to donate funding back into the community and fund our scholarship awards. New Milford Rotary also supports and partners in International projects through the Rotary Foundation, one of the largest service organizations in the world. Rotary is the only service organization to have a permanent representative to the United Nations.

What do members find within our club? Friendship, Citizenship within our Community and the World, Networking, Family Programs, Development of Ethics and the Opportunity to Serve to mankind. Rotarians use “The Four-Way Test” as a code for personal and business relationships and it can be applied to almost any aspect of life:

1   Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3.  Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4  Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
